Note 1: 

 To do OBIA Installation we need to have Datawarehouse,RCU,OBIEE installed and ready to use.

Note 2: 

Before installing OBIA 7.9.6.4,there are two issue had to take care off as per Oracle.

Issue 1 - The Oracle Business Intelligence Application 7.9.6.4 installer fails on Oracle BI EE 11.1.1.7.0 with the error “NQSConfig.INI not found. Please make sure your environment is set up properly”.( before the BI Applications 7.9.6.4 Installation)

Issue 2 - The Oracle Business Intelligence Application 7.9.6.4 JAZN file is incompatible with BI EE 11.1.1.7.0. This causes authentication failures when a user tries to log in to the Analytics page.

Installing BI Applications 7.9.6.4 on BI EE 11.1.1.7.0 [ID 1561846.1]

Let's start the installation.....

Step-1 :Go to where you had downloaded the OBIA zip file and unzip the file.

Then you get a folder named Ex:Oracle_BI_Applications

Step-2 :Open the folder and click on setup file and run as administrator.

Step-3 :BI Apps 7.9.6.4 InstallSheild Wizard window will appear.

Click Next >>

Step-4 :

Enter the OBIEE details in the feilds , which is installed before OBIA.(See the next slide)

Step-5 :

Click Next >>

Step-6 :

Enter the OBIEE details in the feilds , which is installed before OBIA.(See the next slide)

Step-7 :

Click Next >>

Step-8 : Select the application or product or module to install from the list.

Click Next >>

Step-9 :

Click Next >>

Step-10 : Wait it takes several minutes to install...............

Click Next >>

Step-11 :Click Finish.

Installed Successfully.
